Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

If the hill start assist status message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the hill start assist warning message to the last indication state, based upon the last message received.

If the hill start assist status message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the hill start assist warning message off.
