Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube: Installation

Install the new turbocharger oil filter.
NOTE:
Do not reuse the turbocharger oil filter, a new turbocharger oil filter must be installed.

Install a new turbocharger oil feed tube O-ring seal and the new turbocharger oil feed tube sealing washers.

Tighten the turbocharge oil feed tube retaining bolt.Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- 2.
Tighten the turbocharge oil feed tube retaining bolt.Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

NOTE:
Install the turbocharger oil feed tube and the turbocharger oil feed tube retaining bolts finger tight at this stage.
NOTE:
The oil feed tube must be fully seated prior to fastener rundown.

Install the turbocharger outlet pipe and then tighten the turbocharger outlet pipe clamps.Torque
: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
- 6.
Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE - 2.3L EcoBoost (231kW/314PS).
