Turbocharger Coolant Supply Tube: Installation

Material

: Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrated (U.S.) / VC-3-B (U.S.) (WSS-M97B44-D)

• 1.
  
  Install the turbocharger cooling tube bolts finger tight at this stage.

• 2.
  
  Fit the O-ring end of the turbocharger coolant tubes to the turbocharger. The lower coolant inlet tube goes into the turbocharger first.

  Material

  : Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrated (U.S.) / VC-3-B (U.S.) (WSS-M97B44-D)

  Install the turbocharger coolant tube hose end to the water outlet adapter port.

  Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

• 4.
  
  Tighten turbocharger the coolant tube bolt.

  Torque

  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

• 5.
  
  Tighten turbocharger the coolant tube bolt.

  Torque

  : 27 lb.ft (37 Nm)

• 6.
  
  Tighten the turbocharger clamp bolt.

  Torque

  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Torque

: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

• 1.
  
  Install and then tighten the catalytic converter flange nuts.

  Torque

  : 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

• 2.
  
  Install and then tighten the catalytic converter bracket bolts.

  Torque

  : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
