Steering Wheel Multifunction Switch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. 1.

    WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, REFER to Health and Safety Precautions . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Follow the health and safety precautions. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  1. 2.

    Remove the driver airbag. Refer to: Driver Airbag .

  1. 3.

    • Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, start at the bottom and remove the bezel in the sequence shown. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bezel.

  1. 4.

    Remove the screws and the steering wheel multifunction switches.

    Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
