Luggage Compartment Lid Moulding: Removal

1. Position aside the luggage compartment lid pull handle cover.
2. Remove the trim cover.
3. Remove the screws and the luggage compartment pull handle.

Insert a flat blade screwdriver in the housing slot and slowly pry down to disengage tabs on the latch. Pull down on the latch trim cover and remove.

Remove the pushpins and the trim panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.

Release the clips and remove the chrome applique.

Remove the emblem and remove any adhesive from the surface. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove the retainer nuts.

Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Release the clips.

Remove the upper moulding.

Remove the bolts and release the clips on the lower moulding.
Torque: 19 lb.in (2.1 Nm)
