Rear Seat Backrest Latch: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to: Rear Seat Cushion .

Remove the bolt and position the rear center safety belt aside. Lift the rear seat latch release handle.Torque
: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- 2.
Lower the rear seat backrest.
- 3.
Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm to release the backrest.
- 4.
Remove the seat backrest.

NOTE:
It is necessary to remove the 40 percent seat backrest before the 60 percent seat backrest will release.

Lift the rear seat latch release handle.Torque
: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- 2.
Lower the rear seat backrest. Remove the backrest latch bezel. Unzip the backrest cover and release the backrest cover J-clips.
- 3.
Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm to release the backrest.
- 4.
Remove the seat backrest.

Remove the screw.Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Remove the seat latch bezel.
- 3.
Position aside the backrest cover foam.
