Pinpoint Test AK : The BLIS® /CTA Warning Chime Is Inoperative
- AK1 CHECK THE HEADLAMPS ON WARNING CHIME OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Place the headlamps switch in the parking or headlamp on position.
- Open the LH front door and observe the headlamps on warning chime operation.
Does the headlamps on warning chime operate?
Yes GO to AK2. No INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . - AK2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs present?
Yes For DTC U0140:00, GO to Pinpoint Test AW . For all other DTCs, REFER to DTC Chart - IPC in DTC Chart(s) No GO to AK3. - AK3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE BCM SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a scan tool, perform the BCM self-test.
Are any DTCs present?
Yes REFER to the BCM DTC Chart in Multifunction Electronic Modules . No GO to AK4. - AK4 CHECK THE BLIS® /CTA OPERATION
- Verify the BLIS® /CTA system operates.
Does the BLIS® /CTA system operate?
Yes INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . No REFER to Side and Rear Vision .
