Reset the Service Warning Indicator

Activation 

• 1.
  
  
  NOTE: The message center displays the engine oil change due message.

  Ignition OFF.

• 2.
  
  Apply the parking brake.

• 3.
  
  Place the transmission in NEUTRAL (N).

• 4.
  
  Place the ignition in ACC.

• 5.
  
  Wait until the oil change due message turn off (if displayed).

• 6.
  
  Press the accelerator pedal to the floor while pressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine.

• 7.
  
  Keep the pedals fully pressed for a minimum of 20 seconds.

• 8.
  
  After the engine oil change due message clears, place the ignition OFF.

• 9.
  
  Start the vehicle and make sure the engine oil change due message is no longer displayed in the message center.
