Low Fuel Indicator

The IPC uses the fuel level status message sent from the BCM to control the low fuel indicator. When the fuel level is 1/16 tank (approximately 6 L [2 gal]) or less the low fuel indicator illuminates. When the fuel level is above 1/16 tank (approximately 6 L [2 gal]), the low fuel indicator turns off. When a MyKey ® programmed key is used, the low fuel indicator illuminates when the fuel level is 1/8 tank (approximately 9 L [2 gal]) or less.
