Hardwired Inputs

The IPC requires hardwired inputs from components that are not on the HS-CAN or the MS-CAN. These components are required for specific IPC functions or gateway requirements. REFER to: Module Controlled Functions - System Operation and Component Description .

The hardwired inputs are provided by:

• Park detect switch (part of the floor shifter assembly)
• Upper LH (message center) and upper RH (audio control) steering wheel switch
