Remove the following items:- Refer to: Degas Bottle .
- Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Refer to: Transmission Control Module (TCM) .
- 9.NOTE: Note the position of the coolant hoses for installation.
Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

- 20.WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

Use Special Service Tool: 100-001 (T50T-100-A) Slide Hammer., 205-241 (T86P-3514-A) Remover, Halfshaft., 205-290 (T89P-3415-B) Remover, Halfshaft (Plate).
- 27.NOTE: Do not excessively bend or twist the exhaust flexible pipe. Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage to the flexible pipe.
- 44.NOTE: The transaxle-to-engine bolts differ in length. Note the location of the bolts for correct installation.
