Yes GO to B5 No REPAIR the circuit. - For DTC B129C:14, measure:
- B5 CHECK THE ACTIVE PARK ASSIST SENSOR
- Connect BCM C2280C .
- Install a known good active park assist sensor for the suspect sensor. Refer to: Front Active Park Assist Sensor LH .
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Parking Aid Module (PAM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Perform the Parking Aid Module (PAM) self-test.
Is DTC B129C:14 or B129D:14 still present?
Yes GO to B6 No INSTALL a new active park assist sensor for the one in question. Refer to: Front Active Park Assist Sensor LH . - B6 CHECK FOR CORRECT BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect and inspect all BCM connectors.
- Repair:
- corrosion (install new connector or terminals clean module pins)
- damaged or bent pins install new terminals/pins
- pushed-out pins install new pins as necessary
- Reconnect the BCM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly.
- Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
Is the concern still present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs). If a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) instructions. If no Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) address this concern, Refer to BCM Hardware Testing (Hybrid/Energi) . No The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
