CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Condition Possible Causes Actions
No power in all ignition switch positions - conventional ignition switch
  • Refer to PINPOINT TEST
No power in ACC - conventional ignition switch
  • Refer to PINPOINT TEST
No power in RUN - conventional ignition switch
  • Refer to PINPOINT TEST
No power in START - conventional ignition switch
  • Refer to PINPOINT TEST

No power in ON - push button ignition switch

Key not detected displays in the message center
  • Refer to PINPOINT TEST
The ignition mode indicator is inoperative

The ignition mode indicator is always on

The ignition key cannot be returned to the OFF position
