Passive Key Out Of Vehicle Chime - with Intelligent Access (IA)

The passive key out of the vehicle chime warns that the passive key transponder is not inside the vehicle. The IPC  requires 2 messages to control the passive key out of vehicle chime. The IPC  receives the passive key status message from the RFA  module and the vehicle speed message from the BCM  . When the IPC  receives the passive key status message indicating that the passive key is out of the vehicle, the IPC  sounds a chime tone and displays a message in the message center.
