DTE Display

DTE  is displayed in the trip computer portion of the message center. The DTE  function is calculated in the IPC  and displays the approximate distance that can be driven based on the remaining fuel and the current running average fuel economy. The running average fuel economy is calculated using the odometer (wheel rotation) data received from the ABS  module through the BCM  and the calculated fuel flow from the PCM  through the BCM  .
