Parking Brake Cable: Removal

Remove the high voltage lower battery. REFER to: High Voltage Lower Battery .

Detach the brake tubes from the routing clips, remove the bolts and the high voltage lower battery bracket.Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- 5.
Detach the front parking brake cable from the equalizer and detach the rear parking brake cables from the body.

Detach the parking brake cables from the brake calipers on both sides.- 1.
Rotate the brake caliper lever.
- 2.
Detach the parking brake caliper from the brake caliper lever.
- 3.
Detach the parking brake cable from the brake caliper bracket.

Remove the bolts and detach the parking brake cable brackets from the body on both sides.Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- 2.
Remove the bolts and detach the parking brake cable brackets from the suspension arms on both sides.Torque
: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)
- Detach the remaining parking brake cable brackets and remove the parking brake cables.
