functioning correctly, GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
- If the IPC
gauges and indicators are functioning correctly, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.

- If IPC
DTC P1534:01 is not present, the system is operating correctly. The air bag secondary warning chime sounds only when a fault in the air bag warning indicator is present and DTC P1534:01 is recorded.
- If IPC
DTC P1534:01 is present, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .

- If the safety belt warning chime does not sound, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .

- The headlamps on warning chime is inoperative

- The key-in-ignition warning chime is inoperative

- DISCONNECT the brake fluid level switch and VERIFY that the message center warning chime sounds when the message center displays CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM.
- If the message center warning chime sounds when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, the system is operating correctly at this time. The message center warning chime only sounds when the message center displays a new warning message.
- If the message center warning chime does not sound when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.

- If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime sounds, REFER to ANTI-THEFT - PERIMETER
to diagnose the perimeter alarm.
- If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
- If the perimeter alarm does not operate correctly, REFER to ANTI-THEFT - PERIMETER
.

- VERIFY the headlamps on warning chime operates with the headlamps on, ignition OFF and the driver door open.
- If the headlamps on warning chime sounds, GO to PINPOINT TEST O to diagnose the stability-traction control indicator (sliding car icon).
- If the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, INSTALL a new IPC
. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
