Pinpoint Test K: The AWD Gauge Is Inoperative (If Equipped)

K1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes : REFER to DTC CHART - IPC .
- No : GO to K2 .
K2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE PCM KOEO SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the PCM KOEO self-test.
Are any DTCs recorded?
- Yes : REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - SYMPTOM CHARTS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 3) .
- No : GO to K3 .
K3 CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
- On the optional IPC , in the display mode menu, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right to display the AWD gauge.
- On the base IPC , in the Information display mode, press the LH steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the AWD gauge.
Does the AWD gauge display?
- Yes : The AWD gauge is operating correctly at this time. The display mode was not set to correct display mode.
- No : INSTALL a new IPC . REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
