Removal and Installation

NOTE: Driver seat shown in illustration, passenger seat similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the front seat. Refer to SEAT - FRONT .
NOTE: 6-way seat control switch shown in illustration, 10-way similar
1. From under the cushion side shield, push out from behind the seat control switch bezel to start detachment.
2. NOTE: Do not pull out at the front of the seat control switch bezel, slide it rearward. Otherwise, the seat control switch bezel retainers can break.
  
  Slide the seat switch bezel rearward to release from the cushion side shield.
NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphic for this step in installation.

General Equipment: Side Cutter Pliers.
Tighten bolt to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
General Equipment: Hog Ring Pliers.
If equipped with memory seats, operate the recliner motor in both directions to set the soft stops.
- Operate the recliner motor in one direction until it stops. Press the switch a second time in the same direction and hold for one second to set the soft stop.
- Repeat the steps for the recliner motor in the opposite direction to set the remaining soft stop.
