Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube - LH: Installation

  1. If necessary, replace the turbocharger oil supply tube quick connect fitting.
    • Tighten to 16 Nm (142 lb-in).

  2. Install a new turbocharger oil supply tube filter and a new turbocharger oil supply tube linked sealing washer.

  3. NOTE: Listen for audible click when installing the turbocharger oil supply tube into the quick connect fitting.

    Refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION

  5. Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

  6. Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

  7. Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

  8. Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  11. Check and fill the engine oil level as needed with Motorcraft® SAE 5W-30 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil (US); Motorcraft® SAE 5W-30 Super Premium Motor Oil (Canada) XO-5W30-QSP (US); CXO-5W30-LSP12 (Canada); or equivalent.
