Vehicles with flow thru floor console
- Apply the parking brake.
- Position the front seats forward.
- Remove the 2 floor console rear bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Position the front seats rearward.
- Remove the LH and RH floor console lower finish panels, in the following sequence.
- Pull the rear section of the panels outward to release the retaining clips.
- Pull the panels toward the rear of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the ambient lighting.

NOTE: When prying on a component, a non-marring tool must be used or damage to the component may occur.
Remove the instrument panel-to-floor console finish panel.
- Using a non-marring tool, gently pry outward at the lower corners of the instrument panel-to-floor console finish panel to release the retaining clips.
- Remove the floor console upper finish panel.
- Lift the floor console upper finish panel upward, at the locations indicated, to release the retaining clips.
- Remove the selector lever trim panel.
- Lift the selector lever trim panel upward releasing the retaining clips from the floor console.
- Remove the 2 floor console-to-instrument panel bolts.
- To install, tighten to 2.5 Nm (23 lb-in).
- Remove the 2 floor console front bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever assembly.
- Release the selector lever cable retaining tab and remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever assembly retainer.
- Disconnect the floor console electrical connector(s).
- Position the floor console rearward.
Vehicles without flow thru floor console
- Remove the lower instrument panel trim panel.
All vehicles
- Remove the 2 instrument cluster finish panel screws and the instrument cluster finish panel.
- Remove the LH center instrument panel trim panel lower bolt and the LH center instrument panel trim panel.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure to align the finish panel retaining clips to the adjacent retaining clip holes.
