WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2012 Ford Pickup, 2012 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2012 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2012 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The yaw rate sensor, lateral and longitudinal accelerometers are contained in the RCM. The RCM measures vehicle yaw rate, roll rate, lateral and longitudinal acceleration and then sends the information to the ABS module along a dedicated CAN. This dedicated CAN is used only for communication between the RCM and the ABS module. The information sent to the ABS module is used to help determine if the AdvanceTrac® system needs to be activated.

This DTC sets in continuous memory when the stability control sensor information does not change when other sensor information indicates it should. |
| C0061:67 - Lateral Acceleration Sensor: Signal Incorrect After Event C0062:67 - Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor: Signal Incorrect After Event C0063:67 - Yaw Rate Sensor: Signal Incorrect After Event |
This DTC sets in continuous memory when the stability control sensor information does not meet a predetermined threshold. |
| C0061:82 - Lateral Acceleration Sensor: Alive / Sequence Counter Incorrect / Not Updated C0062:82 - Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor: Alive / Sequence Counter Incorrect / Not Updated |
This DTC sets in continuous memory when the stability control sensor information sent does not match the information stored. |
| C0063:85 - Yaw Rate Sensor: Signal Above Allowable Range C0064:85 - Roll Rate Sensor: Signal Above Allowable Range |
This DTC sets in continuous memory when the stability control sensor temperature compensation data is not in range (-40°C to +125°C [-40°F to +257°F]). |
| U1A00:49 - Private Communication Network: Internal Electronic Failure | This DTC sets in continuous memory and on demand when there is a communication issue between the ABS module and the RCM. |
| U1A00:87 - Private Communication Network: Missing Message | This DTC sets in continuous memory and on demand when expected messages such as yaw rate sensor, lateral accelerometer and longitudinal accelerometer missing for more than 5 seconds. |
| U1A00:88 - Private Communication Network: Bus Off | This DTC sets in continuous memory and on demand when the communication bus is down between the ABS module and the RCM and they are unable to communicate. |
