Removal And Installation: Radiator: Removal

  1. 1.

    WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to Safety Warnings in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Engine Cooling System Health and Safety Precautions .

  1. 2.

    Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .

  1. 3.

    Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses. Remove the A/C tube bracket bolt.

    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  1. 4.

    Disconnect the degas bottle hose from the radiator.

    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  1. 5.

    Support the transmission fluid cooler/electric powertrain radiator assembly and remove the bolts.

    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

  1. 6.

    Support the A/C condenser, remove the bolts, release the tabs and remove the radiator from the vehicle.

    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

  1. 7.

    Remove and discard the radiator lower isolators.
