Coolant Pump: Removal

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to Safety Warnings in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: Do not allow coolant or any fluid to spill into the coolant pump wiring connector or the coolant pump wiring harness connector. If fluid is spilled or found in the coolant pump wiring connector, install a new coolant pump. If fluid is found in the coolant pump wiring harness connector, thoroughly dry the coolant pump wiring harness connector. Only connect the coolant pump wiring harness connector to the coolant pump wiring connector when both are completely dry.

NOTE: Be prepared to capture escaping fluid.
