Removal and Installation

  1. On vehicles equipped with automatic transmission, remove the selector lever trim ring using a non-marring tool.

  2. Using a non-marring tool, lift the corners of the instrument panel lower finish panel upward to release the retaining clips.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. NOTE: To avoid damage to the lower finish panel, remove any retaining clips from the instrument panel and attach them to the lower finish panel before installing.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Make sure to align the finish panel retaining clips to the adjacent retaining clip holes.
