Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Refer to HILL START ASSIST SYSTEM DISPLAY  .

If the hill start assist status messages are missing for less than 2 seconds, the IPC defaults the hill start assist message center display to its last state (on or off), based upon the last known good message received.

If the BCM does not receive the hill start assist status messages for 2 seconds or longer, the BCM and the IPC set DTC U0121:00.

If the hill start assist status messages are missing, the IPC displays the hill start assist not available message in the message center.
