Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

When the parking lamps are on, the PDM, DRDM and PRDM supply a pulse-width modulated voltage to illuminate the RH front, LH rear and RH rear window switches.

DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B12FF:11 Rear Door Switch Illumination: Circuit Short to Ground Sets in continuous memory and on-demand in the DDM or PDM when the DRDM or PRDM detects an excessive current draw on the window control switch illumination circuit. The illumination output is disabled when this DTC is stored in the DDM or PDM.
B12FF:15 Rear Door Switch Illumination: Circuit Short to Battery or Open Sets in continuous memory and on-demand in the DDM or PDM when the DRDM or PRDM detects a lower than expected current draw on the window control switch illumination circuit.
U2010:11 Switch Illumination: Circuit Short To Ground Sets in continuous memory and on-demand when the PDM detects an excessive current draw from the RH front window control switch illumination circuit.
U2010:15 Switch Illumination: Circuit Short To Battery or Open Sets in continuous memory when the PDM detects a lower than expected current draw from the RH front window control switch illumination circuit.
