Pinpoint Test Be: DTC U0232:00 Or DTC U0233:00

BE1 VERIFY THE CUSTOMER CONCERN
- Ignition ON.
- Verify that there is an observable symptom present.
- Is an observable symptom present?
- Yes : GO to BE2.
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
BE2 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
- Using a scan tool, perform a network test.
- Does the SOD-L or SOD-R module pass the network test?
- Yes : GO to BE3.
- No : REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , The SOD-L or SOD-R Module Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.
BE3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
- Is DTC U3006:16 or DTC U3006:17 recorded?
- Yes : For DTC U3006:16, GO to PINPOINT TEST BI .
  For DTC U3006:17, GO to PINPOINT TEST BJ .
- No : GO to BE4.
BE4 RECHECK THE IPC DTCs
NOTE: If new modules were installed prior to the DTC being set, the module configuration may be incorrectly set during the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) or the PMI may not have been carried out.
- Using a scan tool, clear the DTCs.
- Repeat the IPC self-test.
- Is DTC U0232:00 or DTC U0233:00 still present?
- Yes : INSTALL a new SOD-L or SOD-R module. REFER to SIDE AND REAR VISION . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the IPC self-test.
  If DTC U0232:00 or DTC U0233:00 is still present, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
