Liftgate Ajar Switch

The liftgate ajar switch is part of the liftgate latch assembly. When the liftgate is closed, the liftgate ajar switch is closed to ground. The BCM provides a reference voltage to the liftgate ajar switch. When the liftgate is closed, the liftgate ajar switch is closes to ground, pulling the reference voltage low to the BCM. When the liftgate is ajar, the liftgate ajar switch opens sending the reference voltage high in the BCM.
