Parking, Rear and License Plate Lamps: Overview

The parking lamp system consists of:

• Front parking lamps
• Front side marker lamps
• Signature lighting (LEDs intergrated in the HID headlamps)
• Rear lamp assemblies
• License plate lamps
• Headlamp switch
• BCM

The front parking and side marker lamps are integrated into the headlamp assemblies.

The signature lighting (HID headlamps) are used as parking lamps and illuminated at a reduced intensity when the parking lamps or headlamps are activated.

The rear parking and side marker lamps are integrated into the rear lamp assemblies.
