Pinpoint Test Ac: U0208:00
- AC1 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
- Using a scan tool, carry out the network test.
- Does the DSM pass the network test?
- Yes : GO to AC2.
- No : REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , The Driver Seat Module (DSM) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.
- AC2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM DSM THE SELF-TEST
- Using a scan tool, perform the DSM self-test.
- Is DTC U3003:16 or DTC U3003:17 present?
- Yes : REFER to SEATING - 1ST ROW .
- No : GO to AC3.
- AC3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE SELF-TEST
- Check the recorded result from the DDM/PDM self-test.
- Is DTC U3003:62 present?
- Yes : GO to PINPOINT TEST AD .
- No : GO to AC4.
- AC4 RECHECK THE DDM/PDM DTCs NOTE: If new modules were installed prior to the DTC being set, the module configuration may be incorrectly set during PMI or the PMI may not have been carried out.
- Using a scan tool, clear the DTCs and repeat the DDM/PDM self-test.
- Is DTC U0208:00 still present?
- Yes : GO to AC5.
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or intermittent fault condition.
- AC5 CHECK FOR DTC U0208 IN OTHER MODULES
- Using a scan tool, clear all DTCs.
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Using a scan tool, retrieve the continuous memory DTCs from all modules.
- Is DTC U0208 set in other modules?
- Yes : INSTALL a new DSM. REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES .
- No : INSTALL a new DDM/PDM. REFER to DOOR MODULE - FRONT .
