Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER SYSTEM .
  3. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM & INTAKE AIR FILTERING SYSTEM .
  4. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM & INTAKE AIR FILTERING SYSTEM .
  5. Remove the battery. Refer to BATTERY, BATTERY MOUNTING & BATTERY CABLES .

  8. Remove or install a cable tie.

  10. Special Tool(s): Disconnect Tool, Transmission Cooler Line 307-569.

  12. On both sides.

  17. Discard the specified component. Follow local disposal regulations.
