Removal and Installation

NOTE: Support the liftgate before disconnecting the power liftgate motor.
Disconnect the power liftgate motor assembly from the upper power liftgate motor mount.
- Remove the LH quarter trim panel access cover.
- Disconnect the power liftgate motor from the lower power liftgate motor mount.
- Disconnect the power liftgate motor electrical connector and remove the power liftgate motor assembly.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Initialize the power liftgate. For additional information, refer to POWER LIFTGATE INITIALIZATION .
