Power Liftgate Interface

Power liftgate open operation requires the vehicle to be in park and the vehicle speed to be less than 5 km/h (3 mph). The power liftgate receives information over the MS-CAN  for the gear selector lever position, ignition position and for vehicle speed. These inputs have network DTCs. If any vehicle speed, ignition switch, or Transmission Range (TR) sensor DTCs are retrieved and the power liftgate is not operating, repair these DTCs first.
