Pinpoint Test G: The BLIS® And CTA System Cannot Be Turned Off In The IPC Message Center

- G1 VERIFY WHETHER A MyKey™ RESTRICTED KEY IS IN USE
- Verify if a MyKey™ restricted key is in use.
Is a MyKey™ restricted key is in use?
- Yes : The system is operating correctly at this time. INFORM the customer of normal operation. ANTI THEFT - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) .
- No : GO to G2.
- G2 CHECK THE DTCs FROM THE IPC
, SOD-R
AND SOD-L SELF-TESTS
- Check the IPC , SOD-R and SOD-L DTCs from the self-tests.
Are any IPC , SOD-R or SOD-L DTCs recorded?
- Yes
: For IPC
DTCs, REFER to
INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES
. REPAIR all IPC
DTCs and RETEST the BLIS®
and CTA
system for normal operation.
For SOD-R or SOD-L DTCs, REFER to the DTC CHARTS .
- No : GO to G3.
- G3 CHECK THE MESSAGE CENTER FOR CORRECT OPERATION
- Check the message center for correct operation, while turning the BLIS® and CTA system off and on.
Does the message center operate correctly?
- Yes : The system is operating correctly at this time.
- No : REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES to diagnose the message center not operating correctly.
