Removal and Installation

- Remove the heater core and evaporator core housing. For additional information, refer to HEATER CORE AND EVAPORATOR CORE HOUSING .
- Disconnect the air inlet mode door actuator electrical connector.
- Remove the cabin air filter cover and the cabin air filter (if equipped) or air inlet screen (if equipped).
- Remove the 5 fresh air inlet duct screws.
- Detach the 4 fresh air inlet duct clips and remove the fresh air inlet duct.
- Remove the 7 air inlet duct screws.
- Remove the air inlet duct.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
