Bumper Cover - Front

Edge and MKX

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the 6 fender splash shield screws (3 each side).

Remove the 4 lower screws (2 each side).

Remove the 3 lower pin-type retainers.

Edge
If equipped, disconnect the auxiliary parking lamp electrical connectors.

MKX
If equipped, disconnect the fog lamps electrical connectors.

Edge and MKX
Firmly pull the bumper cover outward to release it from the bracket on both sides of the vehicle.

Remove the 2 upper radiator grille bolts.
NOTE: Edge shown in illustration, MKX similar.

Remove the 4 scrivets from the top of the radiator grill (6 on the MKX) and remove the front bumper cover.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
