Removal and Installation

NOTE: The thermostat and thermostat housing are replaced as an assembly.

Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
Release the 2 clamps and disconnect the 2 coolant hoses.
Remove the 3 bolts and the thermostat housing.
- Inspect the gasket and install a new gasket if necessary.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
