Removal and Installation

Lower antenna cable 

1. Remove the Audio Front Control Module (ACM). For additional information, refer to AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) .

   Upper antenna cable 

2. Remove the RH A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
3. Remove the overhead console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
4. NOTE: Improper torque of the antenna base bolt will result in damage to the antenna.

   Loosen the AM/FM/Satellite antenna base bolt and disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna.

   • To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
5. Remove the RH sun visor.
6. Remove the RH assist handle and assist handle retainers.
7. NOTE: Lower the headliner, as necessary.

   Carefully remove the AM/FM/Satellite antenna cable bolt.

   • To install, tighten the bolt to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
8. Remove the antenna cable following the routing above the headliner and along the A pillar.
   • Seperate the antenna cable from the rear windshield washer hose clips.

   Both antenna cables 

9. Remove the RH front door scuff plate. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM - EXPLODED VIEW .
10. Lower the glove box.
11. Disconnect the upper antenna cable from the lower antenna cable.
12. Disconnect the antenna power cable connector.
13. Release the remaining pin-type retainers and remove the upper and lower antenna cable.
14. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
