Removal and Installation

If a new Heated Steering Wheel Module (HSWM) is being installed, connect the scan tool and upload the module configuration information from the HSWM . For additional information on configuration, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
Remove the glove compartment. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Remove the 2 Remote Function Actuator (RFA) bracket screws and position the RFA module and bracket aside.

Disconnect the HSWM electrical connector.
Remove the 3 HSWM screws and the HSWM .
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- If a new HSWM was installed, it must be configured (using vehicle as-built data or module configuration information retrieved earlier in this procedure). For additional information on configuration, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
