Heating Characteristics

In heat mode, the TED can increase up to 40°C-60°C (104°F-140°F) to the ambient inlet air temperature as it passes over the TED .
The system control settings are based on the 3 indicators above each climate controlled seat heat switch button on the HVAC module.
In the LOW setting, the DCSM is set to maintain TED temperature at approximately 45°C (113°F).
In the HIGH setting, the DCSM is set to maintain TED temperature at 61°C (142°F).
When heating, the DCSM varies the speed of the blowers and the TED duty cycle in order to reach and maintain the temperature determined by the switch setting (closed loop operation). Refer to the following chart for heating mode temperatures.
