SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION

Airbag warning indicator is illuminated continuously	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) RCM or OCSM	CARRY OUT RCM and OCSM self-tests. REFER to RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE (RCM) DTC CHART or OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM MODULE (OCSM) DTC CHART . If no DTCs were retrieved from the RCM or OCSM , REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES to diagnose the IPC concern. If the RCM or OCSM does not respond to the scan tool, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the no communication concern.
Airbag indicator flashing	Airbag/pretensioner Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) fault	CARRY OUT RCM and OCSM self-tests. REFER to DTC CHARTS .
Audible tone	Airbag SRS fault or airbag warning indicator fault	CARRY OUT RCM and IPC self-tests. REFER to RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE (RCM) DTC CHART and the INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) DTC CHART .
The RCM does not respond to the scan tool	Fuse Scan tool DLC Circuitry RCM	REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the no communication concern.
The OCSM does not respond to the scan tool	Fuse Scan tool DLC Circuitry OCSM	REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to diagnose the no communication concern.
