Impact Sensors

For this vehicle, the SRS uses 6 satellite sensors in addition to the RCM . The RCM is mounted to the center tunnel beneath the console. All vehicles have 2 front impact severity sensors located in the front of the vehicle. The first row impact sensors are mounted to each front door behind the trim panel, the second row sensors are located on each C-pillar. Mounting orientation is critical for correct operation of all impact sensors.
