    2. No  : GO to V6  .
  6. V6 ISOLATE THE IN-VEHICLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR/HUMIDITY SENSOR
    • Ignition OFF.
    • Connect: HVAC module C228B.
    • INSTALL a new in-vehicle temperature sensor/humidity sensor. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL .
    • Ignition ON.
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: Self-Test - HVAC Module.

Does DTC B1A69:11 or B1A69:15 return?

    1. Yes  : GO to V7  .
    2. No  : The cause of the concern was an inoperative in-vehicle temperature sensor/humidity sensor.
  7. V7 CHECK THE HVAC MODULE CONNECTION
    • Inspect the HVAC module component and harness side connectors for:
      • corrosion
      • damaged pins
      • pushed-out terminals
    • Connect and correctly seat all the HVAC module connectors.
    • Clear the DTCs.
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: Self-Test - HVAC Module.
    • Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.

    Is the concern still present?

    1. Yes  : INSTALL a new HVAC module. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL . TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. No  : The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector.
