Generator - 2.0L GTDI: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and position the accessory drive belt aside.
- Remove the upper Charge Air Cooler (CAC) pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR SYSTEM COMPONENTS - EXPLODED VIEW .
- Remove the 3 bolts and position the power steering pump aside.
- Disconnect the generator electrical connector and remove the nut.
- Remove the 3 bolts and the generator.
