Muffler and Tailpipe: Installation

All vehicles
- Position the muffler and tailpipe in the vehicle.
- Attach the 3 muffler and tailpipe isolators.
2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI)
- Tighten the Torca® clamp retainer.
- Tighten to 54 Nm (40 lb-ft).
3.5L
- Tighten the Torca® clamp retainer.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
3.7L
- Install 4 new exhaust Y-pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
All vehicles
- Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
