Exhaust Y-Pipe: Installation

All vehicles
- Install the exhaust Y-pipe with new gaskets and nuts.
- Attach the exhaust Y-pipe exhaust isolator(s).
- Hand-tighten all fasteners.
- Tighten the 2 new exhaust Y-pipe-to-LH catalytic converter manifold nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Tighten the 2 new exhaust Y-pipe-to-RH catalytic converter nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3.7L
- Tighten the 4 new exhaust Y-pipe-to-muffler and tailpipe assembly nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3.5L
- Tighten the Torca® clamp retainer.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
All vehicles
- Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
