SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION - DRIVESHAFT-SPEED RELATED VIBRATIONS

NOTE: Any assembly that is out of balance will only cause a first order vibration, it will not cause a higher order vibration.
First order driveshaft vibration	Driveshaft	REFER to DRIVELINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
First order driveshaft vibration	Rear drive axle/differential	REFER to DRIVELINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
Second order driveshaft vibration	U-joint	REFER to DRIVELINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION .
Second order driveshaft vibration	Output shaft bushing in transmission/transaxle	Refer to the appropriate Automatic Transmission article for the procedure.
