Digital Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the main control valve body. Refer to MAIN CONTROL VALVE BODY .

  5. Special tool(s): Remover, TRS Retaining Pin 307-696.

  6. NOTE: Do not allow the park pawl actuator rod to slide out of the transmission case too far or it can become disengaged from the park pawl. Transmission removal and disassembly is required to install the park pawl actuator rod on the park pawl.
