Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The TCC  solenoid is used in the transmission control system to control the application, modulation and release of the torque converter.

DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
P0740 TCC  solenoid open circuit Open circuit in the TCC  solenoid or wire harness.
P0742 TCC  solenoid circuit short to ground Short to ground in the TCC  solenoid or wire harness.
P0743 TCC  solenoid circuit electrical Open or short to ground in the TCC  solenoid or wire harness.
P0744 TCC  solenoid circuit short to power Short to power in the TCC  solenoid or wire harness.
